The “Chicklet’s”

Here are three little chicklet’s dressed for a party! Each little chicklet is mounted on top a little chipped wood trinket box that has been painted and trimmed with wool felt. The chicklet’s are made from muslin that has been coated to look and feel like chalkware. Their cute little outfits are made from cotton and wool felt. Each one stands (box included) approximately 6 inches tall. These little ladies would be a great addition for your Easter décor….

“Boomer Bear”

Boomer has an interesting story. If you’ve been to my blog than you’ve read the story if not it goes like this: Making bears all started when I met Connie Hindmarsh! This is one determined woman! She bought my “Socks” rabbit pattern and fell in love with it. Now Connie is one incredible bear maker and use to be Miss Connie of Romper Room! She has a true love for these four legged characters and she can do wonders with them…PLUS she designs her own patterns, so why ask me to do a bear you wonder? Move over cuz I have been asking myself that same thing! Well, I caved and made a bear….I made “Boomer” the bear and Connie LOVED him! What a great compliment to me! Connie is selling the pattern for Boomer and I have Boomer, my prototype for sale here on Simply Primitives!

Boomer is made from plush felt and wool felt. He has gone through the “Soft in the Head” distressing program and passed with flying colors, lol…He measures 16” while sitting and is weighted. He is wearing part of an old wool sweater that has some aging done to it with a embroidered wool tag that says B E A R ….His hat is made from fabric and is set over the top of some wool curls on Boomer’s head. His eyes are two antique bone buttons that have been sewn on. Boomer is quite the gent!

Introducing two new patterns from “Soft in the Head”. Meet little “Waldorf” the buck tooth bunny. Waldorf measures approximately 8” on a good day. He is made from heavily distressed muslin. Directions include how to distress him and also how to make his adorable teeth.

Next meet “Rebecca Snip” a rabbit with an attitude. Rebecca is a two sided hanging bunny or she can sit in a chair or on a cupboard. She is made from distressed and painted muslin. The directions will give you all her secrets to get her to look the way she does.
