Known to his friends as “Underground Bob” Basil is a happy bloke. His days are made up of begging from Sweet Sue, the farmer’s wife and/or lounging in the hay over at McDoogal’s Barn. Basil has an easy temperament and avoids any conflict or manual labor stating that it causes his ears to bend in unusual ways….Hmmm that I would like to see!

Basil is made from distressed and painted osnaburg and has a needle sculpted face and measures 15” tall while sitting His eyes are stitched and painted and his whiskers are sisal fibers. Basil also has an overbite that gives him a funny little smirk. His ears are wired so they can bend in that unusual way. Basil is wearing dark mustard homespun overalls with a dyed osnaburg shirt. His name is stitched across the front in black thread and there are three black wool stars stitched to the front. His top hat is dyed wool with black wool stars stitched on. Basil is carrying a paper cone with sweet smelling “sweet annie” inside. This bunny is weighted with sand and sits very well on his own. Basil is ready to come and enjoy Easter at your house as long as no work is required!

No self respected PODD, especially a chick, would be could out in a storm without their trusty umbrella….Now of course this little guy thinks there is more going than just “Mother Nature” dishing out a bit of her handywork…he thinks the sky might actually be falling…so “LOOK OUT”!

This is my newest addition to PODDS-Ville, Melvin the Chick! Melvin is made from a combination of painted muslin and clay and is a stout 9” tall. He is weighted to sit wherever he set and is happy to do so! His feet are painted covered wire and his umbrella is wool. This is a great addition for all you chicken lovers or PODD collectors! Melvin is adorable!

Give me a L…Give me an O…Give me a V…Give me an E…What Does That Spell? LOVE!!!!!!! You can hear the captain of the squad Muffy Jo chanting to the crowd on as they all gear up for Valentines Day, nothing like an over zealous cheerleader to spread a bit of LOVE huh?

Muffy Jo is the newest “Soft in the Head” mouse. She kinda reminds me of my daughter back in her cheerleading days. Muffy Jo is made from painted and distressed muslin and measures 9” tall. She has a needle sculpted face with wired wool pigtails and sisal fibers for whiskers. She has wired arms that can be posed and her wool pom poms are attached to the arms. Her clothing is wool with small red wool heart appliqués. She has two rusty nails for feet and is weighted for standing. Muffy Jo will definitely brings some smiles and chuckles! Rah Rah Rah!

Introducing two new patterns from “Soft in the Head”. Meet little “Waldorf” the buck tooth bunny. Waldorf measures approximately 8” on a good day. He is made from heavily distressed muslin. Directions include how to distress him and also how to make his adorable teeth.

Next meet “Rebecca Snip” a rabbit with an attitude. Rebecca is a two sided hanging bunny or she can sit in a chair or on a cupboard. She is made from distressed and painted muslin. The directions will give you all her secrets to get her to look the way she does.
