This is a hand painted silhouette featuring Betsy Ross working on the American flag.
I have painted the silhouette on an Americana scrap booking paper but brought the flag to color. The paper has a firework type of pattern with a worn blue and cream streak to get it that old colonial feel.

This is in an 8 x 10 black wood frame.

George Washington Silhouette

George Washington is a unique silhouette painting. Painted on an Americana scrap booking
paper background George is posed on his horse with our colors. I have hand painted the silhouette of George but brought color to the silhouette in the American flag and gave his uniform brass buttons and trim. A black wood frame with stars stenciled in each corner surrounds this unique silhouette. This painting is under glass. This painting measures 11 1/2 x 13 overall with the picture measuring 8 x 10.

The Colonial Fife Silhouette

This is a hand painted silhouette featuring a member of the Fife and Drum core playing his fie. He has been painted on a piece of scrap booking paper that looks like it has been air brushed in red, white and blue. The silhouette of the fife player is black but his uniform has been brought to color. The wood frame is black and has three blue stenciled stars in each corner. This is under glass for protection. The frame measures 8 1/2 x 10 1/2, with the painted surface measuring 4 1/2 x 6 1/4.
