"MUSTARD GAL"

This gal is made from very grungy osnaburg. Her mustard calico  dress has a black jersy type material attatched and then aged. Her little face is all hand stitched and hand sculpted. Her bonnet is a different mustard homespun check
material and is stitched on to stay!  Around her neck is her favorite squash necklace that she made herself from her prize squash from her garden!!  Approx. 15" tall. This is an Early Folk Primitives original. Copyright 2008.

" CORN COB GIRL"

This one is my favorite for this month!!  She is so simple and extreme!!
Wearing a great brown checked homespun, she has a dirty brown string that wraps around the top of her gathered apron. A tiny rustybell is stitched to the front of her, as well as an "old" safety pin. Tucked in her string is the most precious little miniature ear of corn that she shucked all herself!!  It has then been waxed and    grunged up with cloves and cinnamon. The little piece of corn stalk is nestled in behind it.  Atop her head is a tiny bit of dirty flax.  She is all ready for the Harvest season to begin!!!   9" tall. ( She has been adapted from a Simple Tyme Primitives
       pattern.)

"DOOR GREETER PUMPKIN"

No one will miss this guy hanging on your front door!!  He is huge!!!  He has been painted and grunged up real good for the Harvest season
to start!!!  His eyes are made from osnaburg, old flannel pieces in dark browns and  black, and then old buttons in the middle.  His nose has been cut from an old army blanket and his long skinny mouth is of osnaburg!!  Atop his big grungy head, is an  aray of goods...including a wonderful primitive looking stick, a bunch of flax, a dried out sunflower head and a few twigs of bittersweet & brances!!!  He has a hanger in
the back to hang.  Oh...he has been stuffed with paper, so he's not too heavy hanging from your door!!  2 feet tall!!! (excluding his stick & goods at the top).
This guy is an Early Folk Primitives original!  Copyright 2008.
