New Year Greetings

This long, cold winter has my thoughts turned toward warmer days and my beloved garden. Introducing Mrs. Tweed & Henry…they are setting out to plant some dill seed (you’ll see it tucked in her jacket pocket). Her jacket has the most wonderful texture, big ol’ shoe buttons, & bears my favorite colors ~ brown & blue.

Plain and simple stitches make up Mrs. Tweed’s dear countenance. She is 19.5”h, rag stuffed, and is mounted on an old mill bobbin.

Henry

Henry (6.75”h) has a few mends on his ears and a tiny bell around his neck. The hawk got his tail, which is why Mrs. Tweed now keeps him on a string.
