EARLY CLOTH RABBIT

Spring is finally on the way here in the Pacific Northwest, with rabbits running everywhere in our neighborhood so I was inspired to make a sweet bunny for your home!  This early cloth rabbit, made using a lovely pattern by Melanee Herrera, is so primitive looking!  It would be perfect in an old wooden bowl filled with dried grass sitting in the middle of your farm table.  The rabbit measures 9 ½” long x 5 ½” high and is made with some early linen fabric from my stash, stuffed very firmly, complete with a wool neck ribbon, rusty bell, old shoe buttons, and a handmade tag and rusty safety pin.  He will come signed and dated by me.

MAMA HARE BASKET & BABY HARE BASKET 

Mama and Baby Hare are all ready for the Easter Celebration and have their own baskets to travel in!  Using a wonderful Pineberry Lane design, the hares are made from stained and distressed osnaburg, with tiny stitched facial features, old mop buttons for eyes, tiny rusty bell necklaces and little needle felted tails.  They rest in their own fabric baskets, made using another great Netty Lacroix pattern!  The baskets are dark green prairie cloth, lined with a tan-checked print and are free standing, stuffed with green excelsior.  Each basket has its own wire handle and hand lettered tag.  The Mama Hare Basket, 13” H x 4” W, and Baby Hare Basket, 10 ½”H x 3 ½” W, are signed and dated by me and are each sold separately. The hares can be easily removed from the baskets for other displaying options.
