She’s 18” tall and cute as can be and just in time for Valentine’s Day, which is coming fast! Her face is as rugged and worn as can be, with lots of patches here and there and holes all over her body.She wears a red & pink Valentine print dress, trimmed with assorted vintage ric rac, antique lace and several rusted bells with red tinsel behind them. Her collar was hand stitched “Be Mine”. She holds a red glittered heart and arrow attached to her hands. Ann has been heavily stained and comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind design. This round head Ann is 27” tall and is actually a year round, all time, Ann. Since Valentine’s Day is so close, I made her a removable banner to read “Be Mine”. The red medallions are made from wool and have black woolen stitched on letters. Her outfit was trimmed with red and blue ric rac. She has stitched on eyelids and hand drawn on penciled eyes with stitched nose and mouth. Wool roving was used for her hair. Ann is making the pledge a lot of us girls did when we were young. This perfectly aged Ann resembles a doll that gramma might have had when she made her pledge many years ago, placing her neatly among special linens and hankies in her cedar chest. Ann’s dressed in an adorable replica of a Brownie uniform, even a blouse and jumper made from an actual rescued uniform. Her banner with the badges she’s earned so far proudly displayed across her chest made of felt and actual real badges! She even wears thespecial brown beanie hat we all wore! Her body is very heavily worn and I’m mended her in lots of places which only give her more character.
