Lucille & her new baby
~ Just in time for Mothers Day~ 32" painted & stained Mammy & her
baby that has been stained & painted, with sheeps wool hair & hand
stitched face, dressed in her muslin dress with black/tan homespun
tie. Lucille is dressed in a tan/ black cotton with cheesecloth
scarf. Sculpted toes, separate fingers & stitched face. New
technique used on her face I'm so pleased with. Sheeps wool hair & a
feedsack head wrap. She is big & rag stuffed & she is weighted to
sit nicely & fits great in a childs chair as you can see in the pics.

Primitive Americana Sam make-do
 22" tall Sam on wooden beehive bobbin. Made of stained muslin with a navy blue painted body, lots of rusty stars on him & the bobbin, with an Americana rag tag on the front. Holds a flag on a rusty wire, his hat is stars & stripes with rusty star garland wrapped around it. Stitched eyes & pinch stitched nose with wavy sheep wool beard. Holds a tag USA.
