Prim Heart

This heart is made from muslin which has been painted with a diluted barn red then aged for a great prim look! I have wrapped a thin strip of aged jute around heart then added a piece of rusted wire and hung it from a stick. Wire is added for hanging. Heart measusres 7 1/2" and is 6 1/2" wide. Total piece measures 10"

Heart Bag

This little bag is made from aged burlap and lightly weighted for sitting. I have tied a piece of jute around bag along with an old key and a tag stamped Be Mine. Tucked inside are four painted muslin hearts with LOVE stamped on small squares of osnaburg and sewn in place. A larger heart made of aged linen type fabric with jute wrapped around is also added. I have also added a little old card showing a boy kissing a little girl..sweet! I also added moss, a piece of aged lace, berries and tiny pine cones for filler...then gave the piece a dusting of glitter! Bag measures approximately 8 inches from top of card to bottom of bag.

This prim doll si made from osnaburg which has been painted and aged. She is partially rag stuffed for a nice feel. Facial features include pinch stitched nose and embroidered eyes and mouth. Hair is brown sheeps wool which has been securely needle felted in place. She is wearing a dress with a muslin bodice with a red striped skirt. An old button is attached to neckline and a strip of jute tied around bodice. Attached to one arm is a wire wrapped aged osnaburg prim heart. Valerie measures 22" and is made from a TFC Folk Art pattern.
