Americana Santa

This jolly olde soul stands just over 18" tall.  He's made from painted and worn muslin. His eyes are painted, his nose and brows sculpted, and his mouth is stitched. His hair, beard and moustache are sheepswool carefully stitched in place

Santa wears a robe made from  heavy fabric which is barn red  w/ cream colored stars. The trim is batting which I've hand stitched w/ soldier blue floss, and embellished down the front w/rusty bells.  He sports a coordinating stocking cap. Santa's boots are made from muslin then painted and stained.
